The Yesod Fragments are shattered pieces of one of the crystaline fruit of the Tree of Life in heaven. The pieces of the Yesod were taken by Laila and given away across Ente Isla.
Background[]
Many years before the war between humans and demons broke out in Ente Isla, the Ninth Fruit of the Tree of Life was stolen by an unknown being and split. The fragments were scattered throughout Ente Isla, where they were weaponized. The angel Lailah gave one fragment to a young Satan Jacob upon rescuing the Demon Child following the slaughter of his family. Following his ascension as the Demon King, he planted the shard behind the throne of his castle, producing a tree which bore the fruit that would become Alas Ramus. Another shard was found by the Church of Ente Isla and made into the Sacred Sword Better Half, the blade that would one day be wielded by the Hero Emilia in her crusade to free Ente Isla from the Demon Army's hold. Gabriel, Yesod Sephira's guardian, spent many years searching for the fragments until he traveled to the other world where he found the last two in the possession of Emi Yusa and Maou Sadao.
Characteristics[]
Each crystal fragment, like its whole self, are violet, the color of the Yesod Sephira. Although they are small, they possess great power and are able to neutralize each other's powers.
Sacred Sword - "Better Half" []
This is a sword which could only be used by the offspring of a human and angel. It came with magic armor Cloth of the Dispeller (in The Hero Enters the Fray Emi calls it the Evil-Crushing Robe). It possessed the ability to assimilate other fragments, thereby increasing its power. Previously held in the possession of the Church, Better Half was given to Emilia so that she could battle and defeat the Demon King as The Hero.
Alas Ramus[]
Around 300 years ago, Laila met and rescued a young Satan from the brink of death . She oversaw his recovery back to full health, sharing with him much knowledge in the process. Before she left, she gave him a purple crescent-shaped crystal. Following his ascension as the Demon King, he planted the shard behind the throne of his castle, producing a tree which bore the fruit that would become Alas Ramus.
Acieth Alla[]
Before Emilia's village was attacked by the Demon Army, Laila appeared and sent Nord to Earth. Before departing she gave him a Yesod fragment, which he planted in his secret garden, and which later became the girl Acieth Alla. The two lived in Japan under the names Hiroshi Satou and Tsubasa Satou.

Laila's ring[]
A ring that Laila gave to Chiho. While Alas Ramus had a fever at the amusement park Laila showed up and used the ring to heal her. Later, Laila gave to Chiho the ring while Chiho was in a coma from Raguel's spell. Chiho used the magic power from the ring in order to fly, and make a bow which she used in the fight against Gabriel.
