With a new manager joining the Devil King's MgRonald location, which has been hit by high turnover in the new business year, Chiho decides it's time for her to leave, as well, so she can focus on upcoming college exams. As if all that wasn't enough, the Devil King's keeping a new pet - the lizardlike demon Kinanna - which is a clear violation of apartment rules. It isn't long before the landlord finds out how badly this unexpected freeloader has trashed the place, and while she opts not to evict them, the repair bill she sends makes Maou's eyes water! Meanwhile, Ashiya and Suzuno are rushing to every corner of Ente Isla, ensuring all five of its continents are on the same page regarding the angels and the threat they pose. The Devil King wants humans and demons to learn how to live together-but can he figure out how to make that happen while simultaneously dealing with a killer staff shortage at MgRonald?!

Chapter 1: The Teenager Starts Imagining Beyond Tomorrow[]
The head of the archbishops, Robertio Igua Valentia has died, and the other archbishops each had a dream of an angel telling them to send their armies to the Central Continent to quell the evil growing there. Unfortunately that’s where The Devil’s Castle is located. This could affect Maou & company’s plans for the invasion of heaven.
Chiho discusses college plans with her friend Kaori Shoji. Kotomi Iwaki takes over as manager of MgRonald. Maou and Ashiya get an expensive bill from landlord Mikitty for repairs to Villa Rosa Sasazuka after it was damaged by Kinana.
Chapter 2: The Hero Realizes the Difficulty of Sleeping In[]
Maou hands the repair bill off to Emi to cover what she owes him for going to Ente Isla to save her. Chiho announces that she is going to quit from MgRonald soon, so she can study for entrance exams. Maou and Emi have also put in for an extended leave over the summer so they can launch the invasion of heaven, leaving the restaurant short on staff.
Chapter 3: The Devil King’s Army Fights On[]
Ashiya and Albert travel to Vashrahma on the Southern Island to seek their support with regard to the invasion of heaven. Suzuno travels to Sankt Ignoreido on the Western Island. As head of the Reconciliation Panel, she tries to stall the crusade which is being put together to save the world from the evil on the Central Continent. Libicocco, the one who terrorized Chiho's school back in Light Novel Volume 8, comes to work at MgRonald to fill the staff shortage.
Extra Chapter: The Fallen Angel Recalls[]
Lailah and Urushihara take a ship from Phiyenci back to the Central Continent. On the way, bad memories of Urushihara’s childhood come back to him.
